SOY Pittsburgh Assistant (McKeesport)
The SOY Pittsburgh Assistant is responsible for supporting the educational success of K-5 Latino youth enrolled in the bilingual SOY (Supporting Our Youth) McKeesport after school program. SOY Pittsburgh exists to improve academic outcomes for Latino youth while simultaneously building students’ pride in their native language and heritage; thus preparing them for a successful future. The SOY Pittsburgh Assistant’s role is to collaborate closely with the SOY Pittsburgh Coordinator in supporting all aspects of programming.
After School Program Assistant
The SOY After school Program Assistant is responsible for supporting the educational success of K-5 Latino youth enrolled in the bilingual SOY (Supporting Our Youth) program in Beechview. SOY Pittsburgh exists to improve academic outcomes for Latino youth while simultaneously building students’ pride in their native language and heritage; thus, preparing them for a successful future. The Assistant’s role is to collaborate closely with the SOY Pittsburgh Elementary Coordinator in supporting all aspects of programming.
Caseworker
The Caseworker is a key member of the LCC team. The Caseworker provides case management and service and resource coordination in an empathetic manner to Latino community members. The Caseworkers are responsible for supporting and empowering families to achieve their goals, while helping them in times of need.
Caseworker II
The Caseworker II plays a vital role in supporting Latino families as they navigate challenging immigration systems and related life transitions. This position works closely with trusted community partner, including legal advocates, consulates, and local, national, and international organizations, to help families access resources related to immigration and needs arising from immigration-related situations, such as housing, basic needs, and more.
