The Latino Community Center (LCC) believes that in order to have a vibrant and diverse workforce, a healthy society, and a thriving community, it starts with ensuring our community feels safe, integrated, and welcomed in their neighborhoods.
The Latino Community in Allegheny County has been relatively small, but growing. From the year 2000 to 2010 our community grew by 71% according to the US Census. Since 2010-2015 it continued to grow by 28.2%.
At the LCC, we are excited to ensure our Youth are aware that they can achieve their dreams, and ensure they can see and access the pathway that will get them there…
We are excited to support members from our community to solve the barriers our community is facing…
We are excited to support Allegheny County services and programs in guiding them on how to better understand and engage with the growing Latino community.
We are excited to build a strong foundation for an organization that will strive to stay responsive to the needs of our community.
